D A Davies and company founded by owner David is a small group of craftsmen specialising in traditional carpentry and joinery and based in the Wye valley .
We undertake a complete range of jobs all to an uncompromising standard of excellence. From oak timber framed buildings to fine cabinet making.
Using traditional methods and responsible building products in all our projects means we have distinctive care for how our work sits within the natural environment. Each task is considered unique and, from the smallest piece of furniture to massive roof trusses, is undertaken with exacting skill and meticulous attention to detail.
Every piece of wood is hand finished to an exceptional standard and individually coloured and polished to each client’s personal requirement.
Our work is given individual, thorough and detailed planning by David, from exacting measurements and drawing of plans through to mm perfect fitting and installation.
The company can also fulfil the needs of clients looking for project management of large scale renovations or restorations as we have unrivalled expertise in these areas.
We also have a team of highly skilled stone masons so no job is considered too large (or to small).
